https://cointelegraph.com//israel-government-considering-n Many friends have asked me about Bitcoin, here's my advice: Governments will establish their own cyrptos--think about the savings (no mint) and there goes the black market and cheating on your taxes. In my lifetime it will happen. I would be worried the US will ban bitcoin like they did gold in 1933, but before then it could go up 10 fold. I wouldn't buy it.

The CMD’s latest Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit reveals that total household debt rose by $114 billion (0.9 percent) to $12.84 trillion in the second quarter of 2017. There were modest increases in mortgage, auto, and credit card debt (increasing by 0.7 percent, 2 percent, and 2.6 percent respectively), no change to student loan debt, and a decline in home equity lines of credit (which fell by 0.9 percent). Flows of credit card balances into both early and serious delinquencies climbed for the third straight quartera trend not seen since 2009. North Korea assessment: 1) No nukes on our part too much risk w/fallout in Japan, China and S. Korea (including our own servicemen) 2) Possible surgical strike (like Libya) however risk is nuclear retaliation (the difference Libya had no such card back then) 3) China steps up and pressures directly via strong economic (+UN) or military response which I believe is most likely outcome.

Raoul's thought process is very similar to Luminary's, currently as hedges against our bond holdings (US treasuries) we are long 6% gold, 6% US dollar and 6% volatility which we believe picks up post election into 2017.
