Happy Thanksgiving! This year as we enter another Holiday Season, we recognize we have so much to be grateful for. It is because of the support of all our guests that Lush Salon and Spa continues to flourish. Unfortunately, not everyone has a success story such as ours. Last year, for the first time, we organized a food drive benefiting God's Meal Barrel right here in Hanover. We were so proud to be a part of a community that rallied together for such a great cause! Coll...ectively we donated over 400 items! The week of Thanksgiving we will once again be collecting for this cause. For every canned or boxed food item that you bring in, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter a drawing for our gift basket. This basket is valued at over $200. No appointment is necessary for dropping off food items, and remember, you will receive a chance with each item you donate! We are looking forward to surpassing last year's donation and helping many more families. Hurry and don’t delay because the deadline is December 18th!!!

After spending many years in the optometry profession, feeling unfulfilled, she decided to take her passion in the beauty industry, and make it her new career goal. Happy New Year!!! Three little words we never could have predicted to have so much significance. We are so grateful to be able to end this year with some positivity. It would be so easy to fixate on the negative. We each have an abundance to ponder. We prefer to reflect on the positive. Our community has rallied around each other more than any other time in recent history. We have seen lines at restaurants picking up take-out. We have seen shoppers walking downtown w...ith bags loaded with purchases supporting small businesses. We have seen families grow closer after tragedy. Abundant success with virtual fundraisers. Food banks receiving donations to help families in need. Patrons freezing outdoors sipping on their cold beverages. Churches having record numbers of parishioners participating in services on-line and on tv. People taking the time to be kind and generous. It only took a pandemic of unforeseen proportions to bring this about. Glass half full? Absolutely. We choose our behavior when confronted with adversity and we are proud to be a part of Hanover and all the good we have witnessed. We pray that everyone continues with graciousness and heartfelt sincerity as we wish each other Happy New Year!
