What have we been doing this winter? At the end of December we covered our strawberry plants with straw. They will stay dormant until we uncover them in the spring. Our seeds and supplies have been ordered and we planned our garden layout, choosing where our different vegetables will be planted. ... This is also the time of year when we make bows for our wreaths, logs, and swags.This enables us to get a head start on our upcoming holiday season. This year we attended conventions and workshops virtually to keep up with the latest growing trends. Tractor collector magazines have been read too. A great, big thank you to Bruce Obyle for working on our greenhouse heating system! The snowy weather is slowing everything down. More about this later. Our family is doing well and we hope yours is too. Stay safe and healthy. Think spring!

Hey out there, let’s Recycle! Want to recycle the log boxes or pots you purchased for the holiday? You can drop them off at the farm anytime that is convenient for you. Just put them on the table on the patio across the street from the wreath shop. Another option is to hold onto them until we are open again in spring and bring them back then. We will give you $2 off your purchase for each log box you return. (log box must be in good condition) Stay warm and safe! Spring will be here soon.
