Safety of our staff and clients are a top priority. We get customers, not just locally, but as far as South Carolina, Florida and New York. Many states and countries that have fully reopened are seeing a spike in cases, and a holiday is just around the corner. After much consideration, we decided we are not ready yet to reopen. Once we do, we will announce so, accepting appointments only. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We value your business. We wish for your health and safety.

It's day 70! Over the last 70 days, we have received tons of messages from you guys! We love hearing from you- checking in on us, thanking us for donating our supplies to local hospitals, giving us updates on your lives, and asking when we're opening. No salon in Pennsylvania is allowed to be open and no technician is allowed to work until their county is green. Philadelphia is still red. We understand why you're itching to get in a beauty salon- it's a step in trying to get... back to normal. To some people, it's just nails or hair. But for us, they mark an important milestone. Over the years, you came to us to prepare for a job interview, before going on vacation, to make you feel like royalty on your wedding day, to make you shine at prom, to celebrate your achievements at graduation, to grieve over the death of a loved one, to kick off retirement, or just because you needed to get out of the house. Right now, your nails are probably chewed up because of stress and anxiety. (Stop that and chew on a carrot instead! ) Right now, your nails are probably 10 different colors because you let your kids polish them. Right now, your nails are probably full of dirt because you've been learning to garden. Right now, your nails are probably dry and peeling from all the handwashing and sanitizing. Right now, your nails are probably cut short to prevent your gloves from ripping. Right now, your nails are telling your story of how strong and amzing you have been these last 70 days! Be proud of those nails! Don't let anyone tell you that "it's just nails" because it's the story that your nails tell that's important. We are so honored to have been part of your story. We have been closed since March 14th, a few days before the city and state issued the stay-at-home order. We closed before being told because we thought of everyone's heath and safety. That was 66 days ago. 66 isn't a special number, is it? Route 66, is one of the countries first highway, stretching across two thirds of the main US and is nicked named the Main Street of America. That's cool. If you follow angel numbers, 66 signifies love, compassion, healing, and building to...gether relationships. In Chinese, 6 is considered a good number because it sounds like the Chinese word for flow. So, in Chinese, 66 sounds like everything is flowing smoothly. Go with the flow! There are 66 books in the Bible. In Genesis, Jacob took 66 of his direct descents into Egypt. But the craziest thing about the number is that the book of Isaiah has the most chapters, with exactly 66. If you take the time to read it, it will sound strikingly familiar! His book starts with all the ugliness and devastation of the world, even telling us to wash our hands and detailing how the rich oppresses the poor. He continues by urging us to do good and seek economic and social justice. The last chapter ends with judgement and hope. Crazy, huh?! This pandemic has brought a lot of ugliness, pain, chaos, struggles and death. But it has also highlighted a lot of good, like people helping each other and nature being restored. It's day 66 and the journey is not over. Today is a reminder that there is still time to do good and hope for the best. We don't know know how long this will go on or how much worse things can get. But we are in this together and we will get through this. We love you. We miss you. We hope you are staying safe. How are you doing?

Philadelphians who are struggling financially because of the pandemic may be eligible for an emergency cash grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Serv...ices. The Emergency Assistance Program is for families with children who were working and experienced the loss of a job or income. Families whose income is below 150 percent of the federal poverty levelabout $2,700 a month for a family of threeare eligible. Funds are limited and applications will be accepted starting today, Monday, May 11, 2020. Residents can call BenePhilly at 1 (833) 373-5868 or apply online at compass.state.pa.us.

Philadelphia is still in the RED ZONE. That means, we will NOT open on May 8th. Please, continue to stay home, keep social distancing of at least 6-feet, properly wash your hands, and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Stay healthy and safe, everyone! Love and miss you.
