Keith Hoffman to return as Mahoning Valley Speedway promoter (11-29-20) Keith Hoffman has officially announced that he will indeed be returning as Mahoning Valley Speedway promoter for the 2021 season. We are excited to convey that things are moving along in preparation of the 2021 season. With that said we are asking that all Sportsman Modified teams attend a meeting to be held on Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 pm inside RJ Raceway (former Farmers Market next to race track) to discuss the upcoming season. More news and updates will be on the way regarding next year’s racing.

While the 2020 Season Season might be over- our drivers are out there honing their skills and winning. On Saturday Night Mahoning Speedway Modified star Kyle Strohl won the PAGODA JUNK CAR RACE. In the picture From left to right, is Jessica Haley, Travis Levan, Kyle Strohl, Tim Strohl and Gary Woodring. Travis has participated in previous demo derbys at Mahoning. Kyle wining car is the same car that Gary won with in the last demo that Mahoning had. In this race held on N...ovember 14th Pagoda had about 70 big cars with 10 cars in each heat, taking 5 out of each. Kyle did not qualify and had to run a consi that started 12 cars taking only two out. Kyle was able to win his consi. The Feature started 43 cars, where they race around an oval for 10 minutes or so and then it turned into an all out demo derby. Kyle was able to win and bring home $1000 with Travis getting $200 for 2nd and Hunter Iatalese who runs a Hobby Stock at Mahoning getting $100 for third. Congrats to all. See more
