Happy Chinese New Year! Chinese students at Mansfield University ushered in the Year of the Tiger with a meal made from traditional ingredients, sauces, and ...snacks. The supplies were provided by Dr. Brad Lint, who coordinates the MU-China Exchange program, and Dr. Shelly Xiaoxuan Ji, assistant professor of business administration. The new year began at midnight on Feb. 1 in China which was 11 AM EST in Mansfield.

Jessie Thompson and Lilace Guignard coproduced a show called Woodpecker Lips, for the 2021 Hamilton-Gibson Women’s Project. The show features 12 original monologues written this year by local women. The show will be held at the Warehouse Theater in Wellsboro at 7:30 on October 29 and 30, and November 5 and 6. Make sure to come out and support these local women and their work!
