Happy Chinese New Year! Chinese students at Mansfield University ushered in the Year of the Tiger with a meal made from traditional ingredients, sauces, and ...snacks. The supplies were provided by Dr. Brad Lint, who coordinates the MU-China Exchange program, and Dr. Shelly Xiaoxuan Ji, assistant professor of business administration. The new year began at midnight on Feb. 1 in China which was 11 AM EST in Mansfield.

Congratulations to our outstanding English majors! Jessie Thompson and Lilace Guignard coproduced a show called Woodpecker Lips, for the 2021 Hamilton-Gibson Women’s Project. The show features 12 original monologues written this year by local women. The show will be held at the Warehouse Theater in Wellsboro at 7:30 on October 29 and 30, and November 5 and 6. Make sure to come out and support these local women and their work!
MU Alumni & Professor Marissa Scott was featured on Grant Chungo’s Mornings in Corning segment on WETM 18 news on October 15th to talk about her artwork and puppet show that she started with her boyfriend.
