Maple Farm Nursing Center

We celebrated 10 years at Maple Farm as a Garden Spot Community on Saturday October 19th from 1-4pm. Family, residents and staff celebrated together with an ice cream truck, popcorn and hotdogs, cider drinks and donuts, games and MORE!

Janet, a gifted painter and resident at Maple Farm, wanted to display her art for other Maple Farm skilled nursing residents. She did but she didn’t stop there. Janet recently hosted a Community Art Class, instructing both Maple Farm and visiting Country Meadows Retirement Community residents with her passion and enthusiasm for painting. Attendees painted abstract canvases in bright colors using painter's tape, Janet’s direction, and some imagination! The event created memories and a shared bond among residents. Through sharing her talent, Janet actively inspires the community around her to follow her example of living with purpose. #livingwithpurpose #buildingcommunity
