Black History Month honors the contributions African Americans have made throughout U.S. history. We’re passionate about this year’s theme, The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity. We offer a number of programs that seek to close the health equity gap for moms and babies regardless of wealth, race or geography. Here are 5 ways you can celebrate Black history this month: Support Black-owned businesses... Visit a local Black history or civil rights museum Donate to a Black organization or HBCU Support a Black artist, musician or author Attend a Black History Month virtual event Tell us, how will you celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth?

Thank you so much to Oregon Dairy and Skey Valleskey, a junior at Manehim Township High School, for hosting a two week Diaper Drive. Skey and his community were able to collect 2,669 diapers to benefit the Women & Babies Hospital in Lancaster, PA! Skey was born 7 weeks early and knows firsthand the impact March of Dimes’ mission has to moms and babies.

Just four months after pregnancy loss, Shatoya Lewis was pregnant again. Her rainbow baby! --- Diagnosed with severe preeclampsia, her baby Zaria was born at 32 weeks. Zaria would spend 28 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) learning how to suck, swallow and breathe. After 31 days, Zaria got to come home.
