Well, our BFL ram, Charlie out of Meredith Null Myers flock did his job. The girls are not the least bit impressed with him so poor Charlie is now hanging out with our resident horse! Lambs are expected later March. Sheep will be sheared sometime early March.

Sophie's fleece is next. This fleece tends to a bit "whiter" after rinsing than my other BFL's. It has been heavily skirted and was covered all year, so little or no VM. The staple on this fleece is 6+ inches. Excellent crimp and luster. If you like to blend fleeces, then this will be great to blend with alpaca, silk, angora, mohair and more! Next fleece belonged to Marlindale Gala. Talk about luster and lock structure - this fleece has got it! This is 3.5 lbs of heavily skirted, covered, golden goodness! My "G" line puts out shimmer that will make you wear sunglasses to view! This fleece was covered all year so little or no VM. After rinsing (no need to wash) and dying - this will still shimmer. Cost of the fleece includes shipping. $140.
