CHIEF 8 arrived on scene with multiple patients with minor injuries. Crews assisted with patient care, traffic control and vehicle hazards. COMMAND 7 & RESCUE 10 responded. Incident #: 300.

HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOONTO 4 AM EDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, northern, northwest and southern New Jersey, east central, northeast and southeast Pennsylvania, northeast Maryland and central, northern and southern Delaware. ... * WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts, of up to 60 mph, are most likely to occur from late Friday afternoon through the pre-dawn hours Saturday. Residential Structure Fire off of Janet Street in Smithfield Township on 12/6/2020. Dispatched with fire showing per the neighbor. CHIEF 7 arrived on location with a single family dwelling with a working fire on the second floor and self venting through the roof. The fire was brought under control keeping all fire damage to the second floor/attic space. Condolences to the family for the loss of their dog and 2 cats that are unaccounted for. ENGINE 2, TANKER 4, UTILITY 6, COMMAND 7, SQUAD 11, TANKER 14 & TANKER 16 responded. Incident #: 728.

The Flood Watch continues for * Portions of northern Delaware...New Jersey...and Pennsylvania... including the following areas...in northern Delaware...New Castle. In New Jersey...Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren. In Pennsylvania...Berks, Carbon, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lehigh, Lower Bucks, Monroe, Northampton, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks..., Western Chester, and Western Montgomery. * From 4 PM EST this afternoon through Friday morning * Heavy rain will move into the region late Thursday and Thursday night, with between 1 and 3 inches of rain over the region and as much as 3 to 4 inches of rain over the southern Poconos. * Excessive rainfall and snowmelt will result in rises on rivers and streams. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
