Happy Easter, Happy Spring, Happy, happy everything!!! Wishing all of you Easter blessings from the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Martina Center . . . a day late, but then, Easter is celebrated for 50 glorious days!!! I do love Spring flowers

Holy Saturday has always been a special day for me. . . so quiet . . . I sit in the chapel with this empty Tabernacle - one of the most lonesome sights I know . . . often I think of one of my nieces, when she was just a little girl asking . . ."Why did Jesus leave his little house?" The chapel, and indeed any church I have ever been in on Holy Saturday, feels so empty. It is hard to explain . . . Blessing to all during this Holy time!!!

So much beauty . . . the forsythia . . . the fruit trees . . . the budding Elms in front of the Motherhouse . . . the daffodils by the gym entrance . . . even with the rain and wind and clouds . . . the day has been beautiful . . . I have a grateful heart . . . I hope you all have reasons to be grateful also Happy Spring . . . and a blessed Holy Week to all!

The Annunciation . . . one of my favorite feasts . . . a feast of light and of hope . . . an announcement of new life . . . a reminder that the Abiding Presence of Love fills each of us allowing us to be the incarnation of Love . . . and we are the bearers of that Love to a world in such need of that Love and Light . . . perfect during this early Spring season when, if we look, we see signs of new life bursting forth all around us. I pray that each of us is blessed and live as blessings to those we live with, work with, and meet.

I just felt compelled to share this . . . the crocuses and other small flowers peeking up through the winter ground gave me the extra shove to post it . . . take a minute and read then ponder . . . it makes one think:)
