Thank you for so many kind words! "Before contacting Mary Lou, I read all the feedback from prior clients I could find and was very impressed with the consistently positive feedback she received as well as the high degree of satisfaction expressed in her reviews. Two other considerations that factored into my decision were her lengthy familiarity with the Doylestown borough area and the fact that she specifically advertised working with seniors. Based on t...hat knowledge, I scheduled an appointment for my husband and I to meet with her and that appointment sealed the deal: she was incredibly well prepared, outlining the aspects of a thorough marketing plan and sharing samples of her previous work. She answered all of our questions and it was very evident that she is both very hardworking and very personable. Throughout the entire sales process, Mary Lou encouraged and maintained the approach of a partnership; she allowed us to fully participate and be involved with every aspect of the sale and was respectful of our input and responsive to our preferences. It is absolutely true that, when Mary Lou is your agent for the sale of your home, she really does work for you: but what my husband and I appreciated even more was how much she worked with us! Re: Polite; Understanding; Friendly; Patient; Knowledgeable; Helpful; Trustworthy; Professional; Timely and Clear Communications; Accessible; Respectful; Approachable. Mary Lou indeed excels in all of these characteristics and is, in fact, the very embodiment of what a first rate realtor should be. To demonstrate excellence in a few of the above listed qualities might be expected, but to consistently demonstrate excellence in all of them is truly remarkable and, I believe, very, very rare. Mary Lou is a one-of-a-kind realtor who always went above and beyond what was required and continually far exceeded our expectations. See more

WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT? Add Wallpaper - Save this for ideas on where to use it and where to buy it Where to "Wallpaper":... -A small space that won't effect the entire feel of a home (think half bath) -Add wallpaper to the wall behind your headboard to create a bold statement wall beyond what you can do with paint -Try a bold office look - Add wallpaper behind your desk for a fun workspace. This is especially fun if you are working from home doing lots of Zoom calls (no need for the Zoom backgrounds if you have your own)! -The playroom or nursery - Wallpaper is a fun way to Kid-ify a space without transforming the room into Paw Patrol galore! Instead find a fun kid style print like oranges, letters, florals or woodland theme Now for WHERE to find wallpaper - here are my top spots: 1. Anthropologie 2. Etsy 3. Magnolia Home 4. Minted See more

HOME GOAL: BUILD A HOUSE - is this you? The number one thing to do if you want to start the building process this year is to figure out your budget This is going to look like a balance of determining your must haves, want to haves and deal breakers and figuring out what those things cost individually and collectively.... Starting with the lot - if you have a new development you'd love to build in - figure out the minimum lot prices and what requirements the subdivision has on things like square footage, building materials, etc. What goes hand in hand with that is finding a builder. Are you looking at the high end builders, mid range builders or budget friendly? The builder itself, can play a huge role in the lot you end up building on. Next, start looking at cost of upgrades. One of the biggest surprises to people starting the building process is how many upgrades there are and the extent of options that drive the price up really quickly. I designed this little flow chart to layout the process in order but the budget is definitely going to be the first thing you take into consideration and then follow the list from there. Did you know that you can work with a Real Estate Agent during the building process? If you're considering building, I can help walk you through the process, help you find the right builder and help you through negotiations. BRB while I grab my hard hat! See more
