You want to know why you aren’t building any muscle???? 1. The most common problem is nutrition, your either not eating enough or just not eating the right foods, proteins, carbs, and fats with enough calories and protein to stimulate muscle protein synthesis and increase performance. 2. You are not training consistently or compliantly. Following a program can be pretty simple, FOLLOW IT, most people get bored to quickly and need to mix it up stay compliant stay on cours...e. If you cannot get 3 days a week of hard work it will be extremely difficult to see progress. 3. Sleep, I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite I was terrible at this when I had two infants in my home, but set a bed time and a wake time, figure out a dark room that is cool with comfortable blankets and pillows. 4. Do not worry about supplements, if you can’t get enough protein in then sure have some, if you like creatine and want to perform better then sure have some, but you don’t NEED any of it. 5. When it comes to favorite knee sleeves I feel like I’ve tried most. In my personal opinion I think SBD has overall the best quality sleeves around. Soft sleeve yet dense enough to give support where it’s needed. Smooth surface with no breaking over time. Stoic I think is the best budget friendly sleeve it’s available on Amazon and is an extremely soft sleeve. Not a ton of support but slides on and off extremely easily. I have tried 3 different types of strong sleeves and I ...like the amount of extreme tension they offer, they are not comfortable at all, but they offer decent support, difficult on and off, but seem to last over the years. Not pictured is metal sleeves which were pretty uncomfortable, and mava which broke apart within a year of use.
New PR. I honestly did not believe I could even get a 320lb stone off the ground. So I went into this lift thinking it would be cool if I even got it an inch off the floor. So I didn’t even set myself up infront Of the loading platform. Little did I know I actually lapped it and got it ready to be loaded. ... Big lesson learned. If you don’t prepare for success you won’t have it even if you get it. Never doubt yourself. Prepare yourself as if it were absolute certainty you will succeed. Because of this I wasted energy trying to waddle a stone to the platform. I didn’t get there, but I still lifted something I didn’t think I could even do. I’m shocked I even got this far, and disappointed I didn’t believe I could have gotten farther. You live and you learn. We set our own limits.

Ask questions. Give feedback. Let the trainers do the training. ... Consistency, if you think you’re inconsistent you are. It takes hard work mixed with always showing up plus best effort day in and day out. It’s not a when your in the right mood type of game. Coachability!!! How well do you follow Instructions, can you perform something without external distractions? Can you isolate a movement, or a muscle, or an idea? Listening is half the battle, performing is the other half. #massfit

This is as simple as trusting your trainer, knowing he had your best interest at heart, all the way to trusting your abilities. I know I might fail in my journey, but my belief tells me my best efforts will not be in vain. ... The practice of loading a soul crushing weight into a position that horrifies me cements the system of belief, I know the possible outcome. But my trust in myself my willingness to fail will prevent me from feeling doubt. 150lb kettle bell goblet squats!!!! This way believe it or not more challenging for my upper body than legs. The amount of chest addiction required to hold the bell is about 75lbs of isometric chest fly tension. ... The lats and biceps start to fatigue around the last 3 reps from pure isometric tension. For legs this is pretty easy but for abdominal and lumbar strength this will absolutely take you to a dark place! Check what you can squat for your heaviest 10 reps on a kettle bell.
Load the bag to however much you can handle, place the remaining sand into a doubled up trash bag and fully tape that bag until you can no longer see the bag. This will leave you with two or more options of weight. Exercise: Reverse lunge alternating with rotation (Hold the bag infront of your body and squeeze your abs into the bag for core tension)... Shrimp squat (Double wrap the straps around your Hands, press the bag away from your naval and away from your body to allow a deeper squat) Back pack push-up (Load the pack I’m normally and press after tour chest touches the ground) Front loaded good morning (Wear the bag on the front of your body, hinge your hips until you feel your hamstring stretch, clench glutes until full contraction is reached.) Here are the facts 1. Large chain Gyms and small training studios are not the same. 2. Smaller studios are much easier to regulate, clean, manage, and monitor. 3. The smaller gyms are slowly getting ready to close their doors permanently unless we can get out of being lumped in with larger box gyms. 4. This is not a crazy dream, this is an unfortunate reality we all face unless we push call, email, and write our local officials.
