Want a last trip to the shore? Want to help break a world record? Want to learn a new exotic instrument?? You can! This weekend, at Things Adrift on Long Beach Island. We will making a methodical attempt to win back the Guinness Book world record for the most people attempting to play a song on the conch horn: a conch shell with the top cut off to be played with buzzing lips: the Bronks cheer with out the tongue. Our attempt will be at 3:00pm so arrive early so we can set you up with a horn and teach you how to make a note. Most succeed with our expert teachers. So a last trip to the beach, a sea glass festival, a new wacky and a world record breaking. I will even sign you conch should you buy yours.

An amazing and accomplished blue grass musician (and funny as well), Russ Rentler (from the Bethlehem area) plays a number of instruments, many of them he has built for his use. Enjoy !
