CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: APRIL 1, 2020 Homeland Security Updates Essential Workforce As of March, 28th CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) has updated their list of essential critical healthcare workers to include chiropractors. This clears the way for me to re-open the office for those of you who have been waiting to be seen and for emergency appointments. Neuromuscular problems are classified into three categories - Acute, Subacute and Chronic. And, while most of us might assume the only emergencies that would require to be seen at this time would be acute or sudden onset problems, that's not entirely accurate. An emergency chiropractic appointment is simply this; If you are unable to perform at your normal levels and are finding it difficult to get through your day with a new or past problem, then THAT is the reason for emergency care. Meaning, you needn't be experiencing the worst pain of your life or desperate enough to visit an ER to come in for a visit. Office Plans My goal is to give you all the tools you need to be healthy on your own, and sometimes we all need help getting there. At this time of upset norms, it is understandable that you might be needing assistance, and that is what I'm here to do. For sure, I am following all of the CDC guidelines to keep you and your loved ones safe. Masks, hand washing and wipes of all surfaces are in place. Office appointments will now be on the half hour as to allow time for full cleaning and no cross over between patients. Also, I will be asking if you have been having any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) of infection and checking your fever when you enter the practice. In addition, I am offering (for those of you who are unable to leave your residences) emergency home visits and tele-chiropractic sessions. Please share this information with anyone who is struggling out there. I totally get that many might be too scared to visit their MD, Urgent care or ER for obvious reasons. I am here for them too. After a 2 week shut down, there are no plans for reopening yet. Keep your eyes open for our next email. It will outline plans for the foreseeable future. PM us to get added to the email list for updates. Stay safe & stay healthy!
