Tomorrow will be one week post wrist surgery. Thank you for prayers, notes and texts of encouragement. The worst pain is behind me and now I'm on the path of recovery. Since all my work is still online due to Covid, I'm starting back to work this week. Please assume all your scheduled sessions are happening unless you hear from me via text or email. If your appointment was cancelled last week and you don't have another session scheduled, I will be sending you an email or tex...t to get you back on my schedule. Mid-Day Yoga and Meditation Class will start back up on Tuesday, March 9th. COMING UP IN APRIL To complete my last course in my 1000-hr. IAYT certification, I'm facilitating an 8-week Yoga Therapy Group centered on navigating the perimenopausal season of life. In this class, you will learn what is happening in your body during this season and tools for dealing with the stress of change, as well be able to glean and share helpful tips for self care. THIS. HERE. NOW. Whats happening in my life right now? Last Tuesday evening while walking my dog, I slipped in an icy patch of sidewalk and fractured my wrist. At that moment of searing pain, I knew it was serious. I'm having wrist surgery on Tuesday February 23rd to put in a plate to re-align the fractured radius and ulnar bones and stabilize my wrist joint.
