Today is Arbor Day, and Mayor Michael Cherepko is proud to be a part of programs that encourage public tree planting in our community! Yesterday, our office joined forces with Tree Pittsburgh, McKeesport Area School District, and Allegheny Regional Asset District to host a tree giveaway in Renziehausen Park. Participants preregistered to receive free trees as part of an initiative to restore the region’s tree canopy loss, based on a study from 2010 to 2015. #mckeesportrising #treepittsburgh #RADworkshere
