Mckeever Custom Choppers

Starting this little project right at the end of build season into repair / maintenance season but I can't resist an Ironhead that needs help ...... Have the motor fit into the frame , all clearances done and now on to the fabrication / fitting phase . seat , fender , sissy bar , oil tank etc... Are just set on the bike for mockup once we got the motor in and forks and wheels on it today . now i know what its going to look like from doing a quick mockup no paint this year , just get it fabbed out and up and running in bare steel for this season then break it down for paint next winter ......

I only learned that you passed away an hour ago my old friend and im heartbroken but I will never forget you and all the laughs and brotherhood you bought with you every moment you were here . im trying to take this all in and make it register but its hard to face this reality that WE your good friends will miss you as long as we live ... 127 cubic inch , new polished cylinders and 4 1/4" pistons going back together .....

O2 Softail in for some repairs and seals and gaskets and new cam chain tensioners while its snowing ... Gonna feel good putting some test rides on the bikes again soon . the only handlebars I've been using lately have been the ones on my snowblower .....

I think Im going to write a book . How to run a bike shop in a completely insane world with a pandemic and more snow than I want to shovel ... Bikes still coming in and out between snows though , end of the book will read " nothing stops bikers "
