On this date November 10, 1993 (27 years ago), Officer Frank A. Miller Jr. was the last officer to give his life in the line of duty to the City of McKeesport Police Department. The McKeesport Police Department along with the City of McKeesport Mayor’s office will never forget Officer Miller and his family for their sacrifice.

The McKeesport Police Department would like to thank Devin, his parents and everyone involved for the catered lunch they brought to the station this past Saturday along with custom-made masks for our officers. Attached to each mask was a note that read On behalf of Devin and his family, we are so very appreciative of the McKeesport Police Department. Being a police officer has always been a very dangerous and stressful job. But, this year in particular, has been extraordi...narily challenging for many reasons. Devin, his family, and the community have great respect and love for each and every one of you. Pastor Rick Morgan will be praying over our selfless men and women who dedicate their lives on a daily basis. We would like to give some special shout-outs to the people that Helped make this luncheon possible. We could not have done it without them Sun Coach Lines provided the funds for the food from DeCarlo’s Market in Elizabeth Minerva’s Bakery graciously donated the cake Heather Nelson purchased the handmade masks from Phyllis O’Neil.
