PRIVATE PROPERTY POSTED--- It is unfortunate that we even have to write this, but the lack of respect for private property owners, especially farm owners, is completely ridiculous!!! We have recently been having Trespassing issues on our land on multiple levels, including the obvious markings found in the snow along the entry of the top area of our farm along Indian Hill Road (and believe us, this is NOT the first time this has happened with or without snow). Each seaso...n farmers work to grow and harvest different crops to feed animals and provide income to the farm business. Maybe you can’t imagine it right now, but underneath the snow at this moment we have various fields on our farm growing with winter crops that will be harvested for our cattle in late Spring. Our farm property has been owned by our family in Franklin Township for nearly a century. With that, we take pride in caring for the land and spending time with our family on the land that we take care of. We work hard to farm the land and we enjoy being able to hunt the wildlife on the land. We also pay the taxes on the land and all of the many other costs associated with farming the land. At this point we are kindly reaching out to our community as a PSA to please understand our boundaries and for the Trespassers involved to think about your actions and reflect on how it is downright disrespectful and can damage the livelihood of our land and the crops that we depend on for our farm and animals. Think about being in our shoes and if these things were happening to you and your property, no matter the size!!!! Sorry for the rant, but we just wanted to make everyone aware of our recent encounters that have added on top of the list of how this year has already been extremely hard for our family!
