As were are in #mentalhealthawarenessmonth. We want to remind our brother and sisters in fire, EMS, and police that were are a team and are here to support each other! The statistics have not gotten any better since 2015. EMS personnel were 10 times more likely to contemplate suicide compared to the general population. Mental health is important to us at COMPANY 26 and we want everyone to know there are resources to help! If you ever feel the need to talk, Chestnut Ridge Co...unseling Services and Tracy Counseling Services are a go to! Many first responders have reached out to these agencies to get support during difficult times. SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!!!

Congrats to the Hunter K. Braddee Helping Heroes Foundation Scholarship Winner, Jeff Hughes. He served as a police officer in our county for over 25 years while also training the community for active shooter drills in many churches and schools. We wish you well in the profession. Primum non nocere!!!!!!!!

This year, we had major changes within the fire company, to our equipment, and our apparatus and we could not have done it without the support of the community and our fundraisers. Thank you! We ask you to please do what you can to help us continue to serve you all. We have big plans for 2021 and we look forward to serving you all! We want to thank all the fire companies that work with us via mutual aid on a daily basis. Thanks for your support.

Apparently Santa is still delivering even after Christmas. We would like to tentatively introduce 26 ENGINE to the fleet. This unit is a 2002 Pierce that boasts both rescue and engine capabilities. Current ENGINE 26 (Lucky 7) will remain on duty for future implementation in our Operational Advancement Plan to be released in the near future. This couldn’t be possible without the support of our community and station members. God is Great! Thanks to everyone who made this possible and our brothers as Osage Beach Fire District, who are new friends to us.
