We're back with our Lead Tutor Spotlight! This week, we'll be highlighting another Senior, Jess Hader: // Class of 2020 4-8 Education track, English major, Creative Writing minor. I love writing and tutoring because they give me opportunities to help others delve into their thoughts and explore new ways of tackling the writing process. I value individualization of sessions since everyone learns differently and will succeed through different methods. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and hanging out with friends.

Now that we're back from IWCA, we're happy to highlight one of our longest tenured Lead Tutors, Olivia Garcia! // Class of 2020 International Studies and Spanish Double Major with a Dance Minor... Olivia has been a tutor for the past three years and has had two FYS assignments thus far! She has also been a Writing Associate for an upper-level Spanish class. In addition, she has been a Lead Tutor for the past two years and has loved being a part of our Walk-in Center since the beginning. On campus, she is the President of the MDA, a Spanish Conversation Tutor, and also a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma! See more

We're wrapping up here at IWCA 2019, where five of our tutors have presented research at this international conference. A hearty congratulations to our insightful and accomplished group!

Welcome back to campus! This month, the Writing Center will be highlighting some of our Tutors and all of the work they do both in our Center and across campus. Meet our first highlighted tutor, Hannah Betz! // Hannah is a junior English/music double major at Muhlenberg. At the Writing Center, she has worked as a Writing Tutor, Writing Assistant, Writing Mentor, and Writing Associate, interacting with a wide array of disciplines and skill levels. Outside of the Center, she works at the Martin Art Gallery, sings with the Women’s Ensemble and Chamber Choir, edits prose for MUSES Magazine, and writes creatively and analytically whenever possible.
