We have made the difficult decision to continue with our "no visitor" policy. This is a necessary part of our efforts to protect patients and staff by minimizing the number of people in our office. We recognize that in some circumstances exceptions may be needed and can be accommodated by calling the office prior to your appointment.

The team at Meadville OB/GYN Associates is committed to serving our patients through these challenging times. For patient, staff, and provider safety, we are canceling all non-urgent appointments. When scheduled for an appointment, we are requesting you to call us prior to your appointment if you: have a fever, are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, ... visited an area with high rates of disease transmission within the past 14 days, or had personal contact to someone confirmed with coronavirus. The number of calls we are receiving has drastically increased. Our staff is diligently working to return calls in a timely manner, in order of urgency. Leaving multiple messages slows down our ability to return those calls. If your call is urgent, please press one and talk to a receptionist, however if all lines are busy you will not be able to leave a message. To practice social distancing and to minimize the potential of virus exposure please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment, unless requested to do so. If we make this request, this person will be screened and must be healthy.

From the PA Department of Health: Measles is a highly contagious but vaccine-preventable disease that spreads through coughing, sneezing or other contact with the mucus or saliva of an infected person. Symptoms typically appear 1 to 3 weeks after infection and include: rash; high fever; cough; and red, watery eyes. According to Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) those most at-risk are: Infants less than one year of age who are too young to have received the m...easles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine; Individuals who refused vaccination; and Individuals from parts of the world where there is low vaccination coverage or circulating measles. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you are a patient and have questions, comments or concerns. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Fridays 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Our office will be closing at noon today, Friday, April 19th. If you have an URGENT matter that needs addressed, please call 814-333-5000 and have the operator page the provider on call. For prescription refills and all other issues, please log into the patient portal at www.myhealthrecord.com and send us a secure message. Our office will re-open at 8:30 am on Monday morning.
