Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Meals on Wheels. They enable us to have a wider and deeper impact on those we serve. As MLK Jr once said, "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?" Are you interested in volunteering with us? Send us a message and we'd love to connect with you.

Meals on Wheels can be a valuable asset for healthcare providers and insurers by helping to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, reducing hospital readmissions and post-discharge needs through daily nutrition, socialization and safety checks. In fact, 81% of the people we serve say Meals on Wheels improves their health. We don't just aim to relieve momentary hunger, but to truly love and care for those we serve. #family

There is a scam involving the PTRR program and our seniors... The Department of Revenue recently issued a warning to Pennsylvanians to be cautious of a scam tar...geting seniors and people with disabilities who receive rebates through the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. The department has received information this week that the scam consists of unsolicited telephone calls from a person claiming to work for the Department of Revenue. The caller starts the call by saying the recipient’s application for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program has been approved. The caller then asks if the recipient would like the rebate directly deposited into a bank account, which prompts a request from the caller for the recipient’s banking information.
