Happy Friday everyone!! Yes, we are wishing for 70-degree sunny days as much as you are, but until then... we do have indoor seating!! We are open today, Friday 7th 4-10pm and Saturday 8th 12-10pm. @spatulamonkeybbq will be with us both Fri & Sat serving quesadillas!! Lastly, we have 2 new bottle releases! The Belgian Golden Strong Ale and the Belgian Dark Strong Ale (in addition to our stouts & saison in bottles). These beers are super special & great big beers, perfect to... share with a friend. The Belgian yeast creates very complex & flavorful esters. The Golden Ale has lighter fruit notes, like pineapple and pear . The Dark Ale has notes of super ripe cherry , prune, and raisin. With seasons changed ... our tastebuds have too. Now we are warming up inside with darker, fuller bodied, super flavorful impression beers. We have a new beer available this week: Old Fashioned Stout. You know those chocolate covered candied orange peels? Or the chocolate orange ball? That’s what this beer reminds me of... with the warming effects of bourbon undertones. It is a fantastic Christmas beer. We are excited about it ... and all of our stouts really. To give you a... headline recap of what we have available: Vanilla Coffee Stout: the classic combo of all the flavors you look for in a stout. Chocolate, caramel, not-bitter coffee. Maple Stout: tall stack of pancakes (I’m just going to leave it at that). Great balance, not too sweet. Milk Stout Coconut: Mounds candy bar. Kentucky Bourbon Breakfast Stout: When oaky bourbon meets maple with a trace of coffee. Crowd pleaser (and I’m not normally a bourbon fan... this has just the right balance). Spiced Imperial Saison: Indian coriander & cardamom. Our tailgate after cross country ski beer. Funktown Saison: aged for 1.5 years with Belgian wild yeast. Pineapple with a hint of funk! Marie of Pine Springs Pottery created a beautiful logo mug for us, and we feel honored to be able to sell these mugs from a talented local potter. The logo almost looks like a leather patch & great care was taken to make each individual piece. Hopefully this tradition can continue each Christmas season!
