It’s not about what you make, it’s about what you keep! Inexperienced stock traders watch out for taxes... I encourage people who have interest in doing their own investing to give it a try with some of their money. It can be a great learning experience, but you MUST watch out for taxes! Many new apps do not give you the flexibility to choose tax lots to minimize taxes.... A word of caution, stock trading can be volatile and is not a game. I advice my clients to only invest a small portion of their money in day trading or stock picking because anything can happen.
