We are putting the closed sign up. Facebook customers are still welcome to come. We started getting people who have never been here from the 4 H fair and we don’t have many berries.

Berry pictures August 3.

It doesn’t seem to be getting appreciably better in terms of picking. If you have the time, there are a few ripe berries and it may not get better this season. We have lost about half to snow and drought.

Still many unripe berries. Probably difficult to pick tomorrow.

Not a good day for picking berries. We recommend waiting for several days. The berries are not ripe.

Still a lot of green berries. It is a very strange season this year.

I think that picking will be easier at the end of the week. Not a lot of large ripe berries right now.

If you cannot pick within the opening hours or would prefer to not have people around because of our current circumstances, we do have some ability to accommodate special requests. Note that we are mowing -- so it might be loud -- and working on the farm on the days that we are closed.
