Mercy School for Special Learning

Cooking with Mr Joe Room 5 learned how to make fresh marshmallow. They had to grease the pan, measure out all needed ingredients, and use the stove to boil the ingredients. They had to watch very carefully to be sure the tempiture didn’t rise past 240*. Afterwards they poured it into a pan and let it cool. Great job guys!

We start our Catholic Schools Week off with Mass. Father Lamb came and spoke with us about the importance of keeping Jesus present in our lives. Afterwards we enjoyed Chick-fil-a for lunch.

Today begins one of our favorite times of the school year Catholic Schools Week This years theme is Jesus is Here. Each child was asked to create a poster displaying how Jesus is present in their lives.
