This is a wondeful practice we can ALL benefit from, all abilities welcomed!! So crucial to learn techniques such as quieting our mind and slowing our breath to help us navigate each day as best as we can.

In addition to wanting to get back into my kitchen, after getting over an illness I feel like I have energy like and so a good workout is just what the doctor ordered. Getting my muscles and blood moving, fresh air in my lungs really makes me feel alive again. Music CRANKED, big movements, timed intervals so I can really focus on my body. Felt SO.GOOD. A commercial came on Pandora about "Speaking another language would be fun but who wants to put the work in...to learning another language? Wouldn't it be nice if you could just snap your fingers and know it?" Listen people. The only way to get from point A to point B is to PUT IN THE FREAKING WORK. No snapping of your fingers. No magic pill. No silver bullet. FITNESS IS NO DIFFERENT. YOUHAVETODOTHEWORK. If anyone recognizes this it's me. Now that I'm a mom AND a business owner, wife, etc. my time is often not my own and interruptions to my schedule happen on the REGULAR. Anyone feel me??? Bottom line, I'm learning - get your workout in whenever you can!! Something is ALWAYS better than nothing. End rant. I'm all hyped up on fresh oxygen from my fantastic workout. You CAN do this!

Happy Sunday! Let's begin the week with a great quote about professional/personal growth from Henry Cloud in his book, "Integrity: the courage to meet the demands of reality": Dr. Cloud says, "You will not grow without attempting things you are unable to do." Looking to set new fitness goals this year? Want your body to look differently? You will have to prepare yourself to step outside of your comfort zone and go into learning mode. What does that look like for you?
