Check out this English walnut grain!

Super fun to share pics of three out of six custom items I was able to make for a client! The maple bar top has some awesome rays in the grain..,The white oak beam is massively heavy..,and I just delivered the English walnut desk tonight!

The kinetic energy coming from this new acquisition is palpable! My 12 year old son and I now need a forge!

I enjoyed helping a client building a new home with a custom finished mantle and steel straps. Selective use of a torch got the smokey, warm color needed to work with the stone. Some extra hammer time on the edges of the new steel went a long way in getting an old look for the straps. Priced out hand forged ones but.., oh my!

I had to finish hanging my new barn doors in the rain tonight..., because how else could you do it these days? And the answer is Yes I will make a custom barn door for your house! You provide the hardware and we are in business!

I promised my oldest son a loft bed.., just can’t do simple..,must do timber frame. Reclaimed white pine posts with some fresh tenons were yesterday’s fun.
