Okay, this one is extra special... I took on this listing as the 4th listing agent. That's right, 4th! My client has been trying to sell this house since 6/2019. I met with the seller in the beginning of January and she agreed to let me list her house. At the time, the house had 34 year old carpets, wallpaper and a VERY outdated bathroom. She decided to take advantage of Coldwell Banker's RealVitalize program. The way the program works is pretty unique. We set the seller up ...with a project manager who helped assign contractors to come in and work on the house. The goal was to improve the house to get it sold fast and for a higher price. Better yet, the seller didn't spend any money out of pocket for any of this work. At settlement, the seller will reimburse Coldwell Banker but she won't pay any interest or fees on that money. This was roughly $7,000 total. The process was so smooth and took less than a month to complete. Back in December the house was listed at $560,000 with another agent. After the work was completed, we did some awesome marketing and listed at $579,900. I am so happy to say that today, we went under contract within 12 days, with multiple offers, and OVER ASKING! Needless to say, my seller is extremely happy with the result of the listing.
