Mifflinville Carnival & Parade

Next meeting, Monday, 15th, 6:00 @ township building. We have lots of ideas for next year.

Our next meeting will be November 15th @ 6:00. We have many ideas for next year and need more volunteers to pull it off. We will be at the township building on 1st street. Please stop in and join us, being your ideas and hear what we have in mind.

What a tremendous turn out to our 1st Halloween parade & trunk & treat. Thank you to Denise & Joe for letting us use their lot. Sorry, I missed the last cars my battery was to low .

Don't forget, Halloween parade today. Moves @ 4:15, parade ends @ trunk & treat across from carnival grounds . Come back across to vendor show, some vendors staying open for trick & treating.

Please when walking your dog on carnival grounds, clean up after your pet. Thank you

There is no sign up for the parade, Saturday. October 23rd, moves at 4:15. If you would like to join our 1st Halloween parade, be at the social hall (4th & market) by 3:45. Parade goes to stop sign, turns right, up 3rd st to Mary, turn left & ending at carnival grounds. Trunk & Treat will be @ the empty lot across from grounds till 6:00.

To all our vendors/crafters: We are starting set up Friday 22nd from 1:00-6:00 or 7:00-9:30 am Saturday morning . Concession vendors please start coming in as soon as you can . Message us for your space number & location .

Remember vendors....you can be part of the Halloween fun too!! If you want to keep your space open for when the parade arrives and have kids trick or treat with... you, please see us for a sign to put at your space! This will be posted so all families will know who they can trick or treat with on the grounds! See more

OCTOBER 23RD INFO We are getting such a great response to our trunk & treat after the parade (moves 4:15 to carnival grounds) We are moving it to ACROSS the street from grounds to the empty lot. This lot is ONLY for trunk & treat. We will end the trunk & treat at 6:00.

PAINT & TAKE CERAMICS $5.00 each. October 23rd 10-4 @ Mifflinville Carnival Grounds, East 1st Street. They will be located in the bingo building during the Fall Festival.

Friday we will have a live broadcast from The River 103 .5 & 105 from 4:00-6:00. Thanks to 1st Keystone Bank, Mapes Mulch, Act Towing, Snavely Mills, & Wilkes Pools & Spa.

1 more week till Mifflinville yard sales June 18 & 19, 8:00-2:00. Need a place to have one, we have the spot for you. East 1st street, we have plenty of room over 15 families so far. PLUS Bladder Buster Tea & Dining with Demi. Stop by & take a break for breakfast or lunch.

Spiderman will be making an appearance Friday, 4-9, Saturday 4-9, & all day Sunday. Come get your FREE picture taken.

Thank you to Beaver Valley Septic for the donation of a portable restroom for the yard sale. Things are coming along. Signs have been placed around town, ad was put in the paper, food vendors are set. Still have plenty of room for more yard sale participants.

More power hookups, special hook ups for bands only, others added throughout grounds. New dawn to dusk lighting will be added this weekend. Replacement of a pole & possible removal of one. Can't thank Jim Seeley, Countryside Electric LLC, & family enough for doing all our upgrading & more.

Next meeting: June 13th, 2:00 @ the township building. Closing out carnival business & discussing future events . Looking for volunteers.....

Unfortunately are canceling our Apple Dumpling sale for tomorrow. Hopefully things settle down in the coming weeks to try again.

SOLD OUT of Krispy Kreme's. Thank you all that bought & donated for our building fund.

We will have Krispy Kreme donuts for sale this weekend @ THE FARM IN BLOOM WINTER FEST $8.00 a dozen. This is our getting started in fundraising. Hopefully soon we can do orders (pre-pay), plus extra to sell & pick-up in Mifflinville, once we find a place to do so.
