Sad news out of gingerbread township..we’ve lost our home do to a natural glue disaster.. the adjuster was out and said it was a total lost...we are devastated.. however we will rebuild, even if it takes another year or so to do so..I feel for Santa and mrs claus and the poor ginger bread men who perished in the home collapse..god speed to all of those who were there for us during this tragic time.. #2020 #ripgingerbreadmen #wewillovercomethis

Being in business is a tough job. Having to go through this pandemic and still be able to keep your head above water is something completely different. Having the customers that we have day in and day out support you is truly amazing. We be going at this for 14 years now, and this is really a weird time to feel appreciated as a business owner, but i have to say its be been all love and support. We have customers that come in daily, some who we don’t even know or have just met... for the first time say to you, thank you for being here! Sayings like we appreciate you and your brother. So today was a great day!! I bet a lot of people went to the supermarket and stood in line forever only to spend foolish money. Don’t waste your time standing in line, trying to find a parking space. Just come to mike & Matt’s!! We have all the basics at great prices! Of course toilet tissue and Lysol are sold out, but we are a mom & pop shop that carries a wide variety of great foods.
