Happy New Year to everyone in our Tae Kwon Do family! Governor Wolf has relaxed restrictions on indoor occupancy. Therefore, I expect that we will soon be returning to live instruction in the PWLPOA clubhouse. We will need a little time to organize our instructor schedules, and contact PWLPOA for permission to return, so for this week, virtual instruction via zoom will continue. As usual, the beginner’s class will start at 6:00 PM and advanced at 7:00 PM. When we return for l...ive instruction, we will resume two beginner’s classes (5:00 PM and 6:00 PM) with the advanced class at 7:00 PM. Before we moved to virtual instruction, the 5:00 PM class was crowded and the 6:00 PM class was lean, so please try to attend the 6:00 PM class if you are a beginner. Crowded classes are less safe, and it is easier for the instructors to give you individual attention if there are fewer students in the class. Kyo sa instructors are asked to check in with me at their earliest convenience. I am looking forward to seeing everyone live again, and looking forward to a return to normalcy in 2021. Dear Students, Due to new restrictions imposed by the Governor, the woodlands clubhouse is now restricted to a maximum of 12 people present at any one time. Therefore, until further notice, we are going back to virtual instruction with zoom. I will send a zoom link via email on Sunday. Classes will be at 6:00 PM (beginners) and 7:00 PM (advanced), every Monday and Wednesday as usual. Please try to set up a space in your house where you have some freedom to move, and technolog...y that allows both audio and video two-way communication. If you can arrange a partner at home to help you practice self-defense, that would be useful. I am not happy about temporarily having to abandon live instruction, but we cannot use the clubhouse without the consent of the Board of Directors, and they are just following the Governor’s orders. On Monday, November 16, we are starting a second beginner's class which will run from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM every Monday and Wednesday. This will allow us to offer training to all 10 families that are currently on our waiting list. Tonight (November 11) we will have Bo training in the advanced class. All advanced students who own their own bo staff are asked to bring it with them. Master John

Even though DV Schools were off for the holiday today, we are still holding regular classes. Beginners at 6:00, advanced at 7:00. We will be working with the Bo staff in the advanced class tonight.

There is no regular class tonight (Monday 10/19) as we are having a belt test. The 7:00 PM class on Wednesday is for brown and black belts only. All other students are asked to attend the 6:00 PM class. Thanks, Master John

We have closed registration in our beginner's class as we have run out of room to train while maintaining social distancing. We are starting a waiting list.
