We’ve got a special Halloween pop up this Saturday @greenstreetcoffee Roastery (1919 Alter Street) from 12-4pm! We’ll be featuring our fall flavors: Caramel Apple Pie, White Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake, and a new super-limited this-weekend-only flavor Thriller Night. Thriller Night is a super-dark, super-rich chocolate ice cream made with black cocoa, and has pockets of raspberry swirled throughout. It’ll be available in both pints and scoops on Saturday. What’s The 700 Level, you ask???? It’s a soft pretzel ice cream made with Wawa soft pretzels and swirled with a Yards Brewing Co. IPA-infused caramel swirl. It’s salty/sweet, mindblowing deliciousness. Even though it’s named after the infamously raunchy 700 level of the old Veterans Stadium, the taste is totally luxe. This is a super-limited flavor that we don’t make very often, so come get it while you can! Attention!! Spread the word: Part-Time Kitchen Help Needed Come make ice cream with us! We are totally blown away by the response to our ice cream and we need help ASAP to keep up with production. We are a tiny start-up and we (the owners) are currently wearing all the hats and doing it all. We are specifically looking for someone with some pastry/baking/candy-making experience to assist us with producing our from-scratch mix-ins. The position is part-time as we are still g...rowing, but comes with the potential for full-time hours as we would like to train the ideal candidate to help with all aspects of ice cream production. Duties will also include some general support tasks of all kinds, such as doing dishes and other cleaning tasks, prepping supplies, stickering pint containers, zesting/juicing lots and lots of lemons, taking inventory, etc. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, have a strong work ethic, be ready to pitch in where needed and be eager to learn about ice cream manufacturing. Applicants must be able to work on their feet for an entire shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate working in a cold environment. Formal food service training is helpful, but not required. Our kitchen is located in the Kensington/Harrowgate neighborhood, so reliable transportation to and from this area is a must. Pay is $15/hour to start. Approximately 20 hours of work each week.
