Get ready for Christmas and think about purchasing a great Millerstown Recreation Committee fundraising project, a cotton throw with pictures highlighting the history of the Millerstown area; they will be available to place orders in a week or so; think about how many you would like for gifts and one for yourself. They measure 48 x 60 inches, 100% finest quality cotton. Machine wash cold. Made in the USA; pass this on to others and let me know if you are interested; a great collectible that you can hang on your wall also; don’t miss it. Profits go to keep our park great Price is $50. Feel free to contact Curt Black at 717-589-3598 to place an order.
A very good article published by a student at Greenwood Middle School. I was excited when you contact me, to use the Community Park for your journalism project.... Thank you for your volunteerism, support and interest in promoting the park - it truly does take the entire community to make the park what it is. And, to have youth like yourself share this 'gem' to your fellow students and faculty members is outstanding! Great Job Drew - thank you! See more
Unfortunately, due to the rain and snow melt, the lighted trail is now flooded. We had to move our displays and we will not be setting them back up. We apologize for this. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The lights are all off right now. They are planning to go down tomorrow and start digging out the path and all the inflatables. The goal is to try to get all that accomplished Saturday and Sunday. I wouldn't expect the trail to be open this weekend. I will post here if that changes.
Now, through January 3, Christmas has come to the Millerstown Community Park. The trail will be lit from 6 to 10 PM. Please wear a mask for your safety and others. Also, please stay on the walking trail. The trail is free but if you would like to make a donation, you can do so through the mail slot in the upper pavilion. Thank you and enjoy the walk. Merry Christmas
