COVID-19 Response: As the impact of COVID-19 continues, we have two main priorities: caring for the health and safety of our team members and their families, and doing everything we can to take care of the needs of our customers and partners. We have implemented our own work-from-home guidance and support our customers as you do the same.

Between risks like mentioned above and the wide spread effect of Ransomware on Sm...all and Medium size business, we wanted to take a moment and update you on a number of things that we do to help. For many of you, we’re already managing your company’s Windows Updates and as such we ensure that your machines are kept up to date. This particular weekend you’ll likely notice quite a number of updates coming to your machines. Keeping current is an important and first line of defense. In the alert, the NSA also recommend to Block TCP Port 3389 at your firewalls, especially any perimeter firewalls exposed to the internet. This port is used in RDP protocol and will block attempts to establish a connection. Over the last year or two, we’ve had that conversation with many of you, and have already accomplished this. Additionally over the last year MillsInfo has actively worked with many of you to retire older versions of Windows. Finally many customers have been able to finally implement good password policies. Recently though we’ve released a number of other security services that might be of interest.
