MILLVILLE BOROUGH CLEANUP DAY MAY 22nd 8:00 - 11:00 The purpose of this event is to clean-up the exterior of our properties. Only Borough residents and Borough residential properties are allowed to participate. There will be a $4 charge for car tires, $8 charge for truck tires and $5 for appliances. Tires must be clean and with no rims. No toxic material, liquids or demolition waste can be accepted. All materials must be placed in the dumpsters. Boro personnel will not be responsible for transport or placing materials in the dumpsters. Proof of residency may be required. We hope this event will enhance the beauty of our community! We will NOT accept electronic devices this year (computers, printers, televisions, etc.).

Winter Storm Watch: In place until Friday morning. Snow is expected to begin late tonight and continue on and off into Friday Morning. Possible accumulations of 4-7 inches for our area with heavier amounts in South central PA. Heaviest snowfall is expected Thursday morning. If you do not need to be out please stay home and allow plow trucks to clear and treat roadways. If you need to be out drive careful. Drive careful and stay safe !

Winter Weather Update: An Ice Storm Warning has been issued for our area. wintery mix will move into our area around 7pm changing over to freezing rain around 10pm, freezing rain expected to continue overnight into Tuesday morning. with temperatures rising Tuesday we could see a change over to all rain before system moves out of our area. an expected accumulation of ice between 1/4 and 1/2 inch possible. this could cause power outages and downed trees. Please be prepare...d for power outages. Road conditions will be treacherous at times. If you do not need to be out PLEASE stay home and allow plow trucks to treat the roads. If you do have to be out be extremely careful. Drive careful and stay safe!

***Major Winter Storm*** A Nor-Easter is being predicted to hit our area Wednesday into Thursday (12/16-12/17). Light Snow is expected to begin between 1pm-4pm on Wednesday. Intensity will increase from South to North after 6pm. Snowfall rates could reach 2" per hour especially between 10pm and 3am. blowing and drifting are expected with gust of 20-30 mph in our area. Under the current expected track the heaviest snow bands are favored to target areas south of I-80. 1...6-20" south or I-80, 12-16" north of I-80. Snow will end from southwest to northeast Thursday morning between 7am-10am. If you do not need to be out in the storm please stay home. Please make sure you are prepared for the storm. Thank you to the volunteers that repaired and stained the gazebo, Shawn Temple for replacing the roof on the gazebo, to Drex Wright and Quaker Construction for donating the supplies and labor to replace the roofing on the cap of the gazebo and to Brian Brown Landscaping for cleaning up the area, planting new shrubs/flowers and mulching.

Leaf Collection: Bagged leaves set at curbside began on October 5th and will continue through November 23rd, Monday and Friday mornings. Anyone wanting bagged leaves to be picked up after the 23rd will need to call the Boro office at 458-5709 to schedule the pickup. No garbage or flowerpots!
