Better late than never -- Soggy weekend horse showing over at WRC but it was final one of series hoping we make it to Colonial. Congratulations to Elivia and Blank Chex who although didn't place as highly as I anticipated- they had fabulous rounds and all of their hard work with consistency, pace, and lead changes came together. ... Congratulations to Maggie and Bottle of Red. Hard competition in her group but they also had the best show yet this season (and we are just getting started!) moving up to Modified division this coming weekend! See you at Jodon's

How much weight can a horse carry? In my experience, a horse can carry an infinite amount. They can carry the weight of broken hearts, broken homes, and brok...en bodies. Countless tears sometimes comb their tangled manes. Moments when parents and friends cannot be there to help and hold a person, horses embrace and empower. They carry physical, mental, and emotional handicaps. They carry hopes and dreams; and they will carry the stress from your day when you can't carry it anymore. Successful show at WRC! Maggie and Bottle of Red in the Long Stirrup -- first season of showing with this guy. Did great and ready to move on up to 2' Elivia and Blank Chex with Champion in Adult Equitation 2'6 ... Alexis and Hezekiah Champion in the Professional 2'6 (following a massive hail storm we got caught in!) So happy to be home after a stormy day
