Hi everyone. If you had registered for 2020 spring season you are registered for the June 5th 2021 season. You may have try to registered today and found there is no where to signup it is because you are already signed up in 2020.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we are alive and well. The weather is starting to turn nice and everyone is anxious to get started. Our present plan is to open a six-week season beginning on June 5th. You can register now on the website at www.mlwpa.org. There are serious criteria established for youth sports by the commonwealth and CDC that we will need to adhere to in order to play. We are very thoughtful of the safety of our players and families. Just because others are doing something please don't assume we are willing to take the same risks. Looking forward to the day we can say - "Play Ball".

Tickets for the Delmont-Salem Rotary Pig Roast are available at Pittsburgh Barbeque in Delmont, the Delmont Borough Office, and The Delmont Library. We need to have our count for the event by Wednesday, August 19. Please get your tickets now. The proceeds for this event will help us to build a unisex restroom in the Delmont Community Parklette. I hope some of our families will consider supporting the club and the work they do.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Overly's Country Christmas' beloved Executive Director, Ms. Stephanie Tomasic. Stephanie passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 21. She was our leader, our friend, and most importantly, she was the spirit that brightened this community with millions of lights every Christmas season. Her years of tireless efforts and dedication provided enjoyment to countless visitors during the Christmas season. Collectively as her s...taff, volunteers, and board we grieve this deep loss. Together we will fondly remember her wisdom, dedication, spirit, friendship, and clever quotes. To you, our visitors, we say thank you. We appreciate your loyalty and support. At this time, we ask for your ongoing prayers and well wishes for her family, Overly’s staff and our volunteers. Thank you for respecting their privacy during this very difficult and sad time. Stephanie always greeted our league at the holiday party. Patti and I will miss her dearly.

Good morning Miracle League families. We have been missing all of you so much. I know that you have been anxious to know whether we would be able to have a Fall season. Unfortunately, the CDC Guidelines and the current increase in the number of virus cases in western PA result in a decision by the Board of Directors to cancel the Fall season for 2020. We are all disappointed but the safety and welfare of all of you are far more important than the risks that we would incur. We will spend the fall and winter season looking forward to an exciting new spring season in 2021. Be safe.
