Teaching dance is one of the greatest gifts in the world. I’m so excited to see my dancers, back on the stage, performing!

The studio is closed Friday, May 28 thru Monday, May 31 for the Memorial Day weekend. Classes resume on Tuesday, June 1st.

7 year anniversary!

To all of our MKDS families that celebrate Hanukkah...

Today is the 7 year anniversary of MKDS (in the larger location)... 1 1/2 years before, in the basement of my home. It took a huge leap of faith to resign from a steady income as a school teacher, and open my own business. I’m grateful that my husband, and family, believed in me, and encouraged me to follow my dreams.... We’ve accomplished so much, and continue to grow every year, while always keeping our dancers, and the art of dance, our top priority. So many things to be proud of... From a 45 minute recital at the 3rd Street Alliance, to our 2021 recital to be held at Easton’s State Theatre. Community performances and bringing joy to others... dancing at nursing homes, Forks Community Days, Halloween Parades, Iron Pigs games, Dance for a Cure, Breat Cancer Powder Puff game, and Musikfest. Educational and fun trips into NYC, dancing in Disney, and another Disney trip this June! Stepping completely out of my comfort zone by attending a few competitions, where MKDS was recognized for Best of Show, Teacher Awards, and more. We even competed in a virtual competition! I think our biggest accomplishment, so far, is continuing to dance through the current storm... the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been a very difficult time, it’s not over yet, but MKDS will continue to dance in the rain. Thank you all for your support, and for allowing me to teach, nurture, and share my passion of dance with your children. I hope you enjoy some of these memories (including my very first year dancing at 9 years old)...

Dance can be stunning, touching, and beautiful even when it doesn’t include a single jump, turn, or grab the leg and yank it up. Enjoy the journey--Rhee
