"It simply says what everyone already should know: You should not discriminate against people," Becerra told CNN. "That includes those based on sexual orientation or gender identity and when it comes to healthcare - we want to make sure that's the case." https://www.reuters.com//biden-administration-protect-gay/

Thank you to all who attended the Montgomery County LGBT Business Council's first ever TailGAYte! This socially distant opportunity to safely connect over Waffle Mamas and Ambler Beer Company while taking in phenomenal performances by Tina Montgomery and Asia Monroe was truly one for the books. We were also excited to present Council Members Frank Laguda of Tony Laguda Formalwear & Mens Clothing with our Volunteer of the Year award and Jesse Frechette of Center Mindful with the Richard Buttacavoli Legacy Award. Both of these dedicated individuals spearheaded actions to support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to our sponsors Novus ACS, Jason Ocoma, Financial Consultant of Equitable Advisors, Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, Minuteman Press, Ambler, and Station Partners at Ambler Yards.

Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Tanya C. Bamford said the board wanted to reassure constituents that Montgomery Township is a safe community. We wanted to pass the ordinance not only to create this local outlet for our constituents, but to also signal to the marginalized communities that we value and respect them, Bamford told PGN. We want to make sure that in today’s environment which is fraught with a lot of tension they understand their rights will be protected here in the township. https://www.penncapital-star.com//three-suburban-philly-t/

The Senate will now have a good chance of finally passing the Equality Act, which would protect LGBT+ people from discrimination in areas like employment, housing and education by amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act. https://www.pinknews.co.uk//georgia-election-results-lgbt/
