B A S I C R I C H CARAMEL @kaylilly1617 has been struggling to reach her hair goals for a while now. It’s my fault, she’s family and we don’t always allow enough time to make a huge transition. She is one of my greatest mentors. I love you . . . Kaylie has amazing hair! One of the biggest struggles I have with doing her hair is that it never holds warmth. The low lights are never rich enough, the highlights are either yellow/gold or white, and her base color always mutes everything. J U S T B E L I E V E @sl_tasso planned her wedding and wasn’t letting #covid19 stop them from having their special day. She just kept telling me that you just have to believe, have faith, and hope and pray for the best. The pressure was on for Stacy to keep her family healthy so they could get to the alter on time. . .... . I felt so strongly in my heart that she was supposed to have this day just how she planned. While some of her arrangements had to have some minor changes the most important part of her day was having her mom there by her side. Stacy’s mother has been battling cancer and was given little time to live. That time has been extended as she has passed the time the doctors originally gave her. That right there is faith. . . . Stacy was such a special bride. She was surrounded by their children who were all in the bridal party. They all looked so beautiful and so happy to be apart of such a special moment. She thought of every detail including the amazing glitter masks they wore in the salon on the wedding day. Stacy, I hope your day was perfect because you deserve it! LETITSNOW . . . Just kidding I’m not ready for snow but that’s the song I was singing in my head as I was blow drying @ciocidonna . Goal was to get it white and ashy and leave the gray roots as is. This was after one session of highlights. ... . . . Transformations like this can be tough because I needed to grab almost every piece of hair and Bring it to the next level. Donnas hair was previously colored for gray coverage, and also highlighted. It’s important to not over lighten any previously lightened strands which can be tedious but completely necessary to keep the hair healthy. . . . I find myself doing a lot of these pick through highlights to get my clients brighter and whiter. I love the goals I can achieve through highlighting. M E R M A I D S E A . . . @_chantalina_ always lets me use my creativity when doing her hair. She has basically been every color possible. When she first sat in my chair her hair was bob length, shaved undercut, and her hair color was black. Her hair goal was to become silver .... . . . Welp it happened not sure how but it happened. I always say how amazed I am every time I do her color because projects like these take time amd multiple sessions. For some strange reason we get to goal in the same day. THIS NEVER HAPPENS! I have never worked on someone’s hair that is so strong and can always be pushed to the next level without damage. It truly is the perfect canvas to paint . . . @_chantalina_ is a double process. She gets her roots done every 6 weeks with @redken #flashliftbyredken. She uses @celebluxury #viralshampoo for her at home care. For this appointment I used #shadeseqgloss #10VV #10P #Aquabluepastels We do haircuts and baby trims often. Usually within two appts we change her color to something else fun.
