A big congratulations are in order for Kerstin Ams! Kerstin was awarded the Joanne Denworth Founder’s Award through 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania for her work launching the Mobile Market House and supporting the Grow Meadville Garden Network. Kerstin works tirelessly, intelligently, and often quietly to make Meadville a better place and meaningfully engages Allegheny College in local food initiates. Kerstin is the Garden Coordinator at the Allegheny College Carr Hall Garden, she spearheaded the creation of the MARC Community Garden, and she was the Market Authority board member responsible for the Mobile Market’s transition from Allegheny to the Meadville Market House. We’re lucky to have Kerstin as our neighbor. Thanks for your work and for making Meadville proud, Kerstin!
