Mohnton Borough Police Department

The Mohnton Police Department's, Officer Robert Souders, participated in this years Crime Alert Berks Shop With a Cop. The event is held every year and is sponsored by Boscovs and Crime Alert Berks. Children from local Elementary schools are chosen by their Principals and given $100 gift cards for Boscovs Dept Store. The children get paired with a Police Officer who helps them shop for gifts.

TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!!!....and for a large influx of carboard boxes and other recyclable items. We would like to remind everyone to please recycle. Here in the borough we have a very successful recycling program and ask for your continued help. Because of our recycling program the Borough has been awarded grants that have helped with acquiring many pieces of useful equipment. The grants have helped us purchase the new leaf picker and leaf/yard waste truck, yard waste scissor lift, our yard waste and metal recycling facility, the trash and recycling receptacles at the Mohnton Park, the red recycling containers for our residents and more. So please...no recyclables in the trash and avoid getting a borough ordinance citation in your stockings

2018 Trick or Treat nights are October 30/31st, 6pm-9pm.
