The Library of America series of literary reprints was a long-time dream of the critic Edmund Wilson, as a personal mission to keep classics in print permanently to preserve America's literary heritage. Modeled on the Bibliotheque di la Pleiade series published in France, the LOA is a jewel of integrity, publishing over 200 titles (and counting) since 1979. We have a limited number of volumes of both subscription and standard editions which we are offering for sale at the generously low price of $12 a piece. This rivals the prices of the lowest on-line sellers. But please hurryThe sale and the supply won’t last long!

Calling all Lamb of God fans...as you know, they made it through the tumultuous past three years and have released their 7th studio album, VII: Sturm and Drang. THAT we can't help you out with (being new and all, a copy hasn't made it's way into the shop yet), but if catching up on their back catalog is what you need, we got you. Just arrived, a few LPs of theirs including a very nice sealed Wrath box set which includes LP, a deluxe CD with a bonus disc AND a USB drive that has 2 exclusive tracks. We've been collecting hundreds, maybe thousands, of really great kids books and they will be on sale under our 9th Street awning for $2...or less!! All day every Sunday in August, 10AM till 6PM. Plus, if you come between 11 and 1, there will be free games with real prizes.

Big haul of new stuff in today, couple of hundred books, couple of hundred records. Everything from fabulous glam rock classics to really free jazz, perennial favorites we can never keep in stock, and then a bunch of interesting books, uncommon Margaret Atwood titles, a cool edition of William Blake with lovely illustrations, bunch of Philip K. Dick stuff. Just sayin.
