The staff at MMC rocked our complimentary United Way sunglasses to show our support for the 2018 campaign kick off. Our goal is 100% participation and to ensure we do our part for the well-being of individuals of all ages. The Staff at MMC recently enjoyed a team building day that included fun games at the office and Project Escape in Conshohocken, PA. Each team worked together to use clues and ultimately escape the rooms. Here comes the bride! MMC celebrated the upcoming nuptials of Tricia Hunter and Andrew Nice with a surprise beach themed bridal shower. The staff enjoyed lunch and a delicious cake. Check out these great pictures of the surprised bride-to-be!

This month was a very busy month for us here at MMC. We were able to get out and volunteer at a wonderful organization Cradles to Crayons. It is a warehouse in Conshohocken where donations of children’s clothing, toys and necessities are collected and then sorted by volunteers. From there the items get put into what they call kid packs and sent to children in foster care, low income and homeless situations in our region. We all enjoyed rolling up our sleeves and helping wherever needed. After our volunteer experience we decided to put up a permanent donation bin in the office so we can continue to help with the needs at Cradles to Crayons.

For the Month of May we chose to support Open Arms Shelter in Kensington which is a transitional home for Veterans. We were able to collect over 3 large garbage bags filled with men’s clothing, as well as hygiene products and a some snacks. While dropping off the donations to our contact Patricia, she was amazed at everything we had. Patricia and some of her friends host parties a few times a year for the Vets to help lift their spirits. It is so great meeting new people and getting involved in our community!

This Spring our employees took part in collecting donations for CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) on behalf of Emma Davies, a previous patient when she was under a year old. Emma and her family put together and delivered baskets of treats to 2 floors. MMC alone was able to fill 30 bags for kids and their families on the Oncology floor! This is the third year The Davies family has donated. Emma received a bone marrow transplant 3 years ago from her big sister Lilly! Lilly will forever be Emma’s hero! MMC put together a Hot dog and Philly soft pretzel day on 2/10/17 in support of The American Heart Association. We wore pink and/or red and received a raffle ticket to be entered to win a Valentine’s Day Basket filled with lots of goodies. The winner of the raffle basket was Seteya! What a perfect gift to win just in time for Valentine’s Day! We were able to raise $100 for this great cause!

On Thursday, January 19, 2017 we held our 1st MMC Open House. We had a great time networking with clients and fellow co-workers. There was plenty of food to taste provided by Wild Blue Catering in King of Prussia and we even had 2 of our very own bartending for the night! The evening turned out to be so much fun and we look forward to holding more events just like this!
