We lost a good friend this morning. long time dedicated fire police member of Montour Township station 240 Doug Fettrerman has crossed over to be with the lord . He will be sadly missed RIP my friend .

Flood alert: fishing creek is expected to flash flood sometime tonight. River is expected to reach 26.4 ft . Expect closing of rt11 near the 42 ramps and rt 42 will be closing in Rupert once it goes to 21.5 ft .I will update as information comes In. Please stay safe if u must travel the next few days. Plan on this event going through the weekend.

Scam alert!!! If someone with a foreign accent calls to tell you a car with blood and drugs are found and it’s registered to Uou In another state and there are warrants out for you. It’s a scam. Do not give them your information. Do not go buy eBay gift cards to show them the serial numbers just hang up. Please share people are falling for it. They are targeting seniors.

The vehicle and driver of hit and run accident on rt42 have been identified. Thank you to everyone for looking out and sharing the information

We need some help from the public. Hit and run occurred tonight at7pm on rt42 in the narrows near Rupert. A green cargo van with ladders on rack on top.business name on sides. Struck and totaled another vehicle traveling on 42. The van fled towards rt11. Van will have damage on drivers side front end. Any info contact us at 570-784-5454 please share this post
