The Mon Valley HOG Chapter is sad to have to share this with you all. Randy Winter let us know that we lost a member of our Mon Valley HOG family last week. Dan Johnson was a new member that joined because of his love of motorcycles and to be able to enjoy a night out with his friends. He died unexpectedly on November 5th, 2020 peacefully in his residence in South Park, Pa at the age of 57. He loved riding and was able to make it to Sturgis this year and enjoyed the ride ...most of all. He is being laid out this Saturday, November 14 in Cannonsburg. I have attached a link to his Obituary below. We have been asked to be there for Dan's last ride. A group of his friends will meet at the White Eagle Club, 303 Adams Ave, Canonsburg, PA 15317 at 9:45 AM this Saturday and leave by 10:00 AM for the funeral home. Viewing is from 10-12, then we ride to Holy Souls Cemetery 4772 Campbells Run Road Coraopolis for services at 1:30. As a new member, many of us did not get to know Dan well but we all shared his love for motorcycles and good friends. If you can make it, please join us either at the White Eagle at 9:45 or at Hot Metal at 8:45 with a KSU at 9:00AM. Saturday 9/19/20 I will be taking a Chapter ride out to Ohio to the Triple Nickel Highway and the Triple Nickel Diner for lunch. This is a closed ride for members only unless a member invites a guest. Meeting at the BP Station on Pa 51 between the Liberty tubes and the Ft Pitt Tunnels. KSU @ 9:00.
