Hey everyone! This is Samantha Hawbaker one of the owners in the rescue. My beloved dog trapper needs acl surgery and we found out two days ago. He can barely get up and move around unless he has pain medicine. We have only a two month window to come up with $2300 for his surgery to help get him back to his happy self! So I am just asking anyone who would be willing to donate literally anything we would appreciate it sooo much! Trappy is our baby and he NEEDS this surgery but with these times it’s hard for us to just have that much money to spend. So again if you are willing to donate we thank you sooo much and we know trapper will too!

Moon lit acres rescue today! Two Muscovy ducks, they were dropped off at a ladies house and she did not have the capabilities to take care of them or catch them and she did not want the coyotes to catch them first. So we came in to help! We caught both of them happy and healthy they are. They are at their new forever home already enjoying life! Moon lit acres would like to remind people just because animals are cute and small doesn’t mean they will always stay that way. So if that is the only reason for getting one. Don’t. Get an animal because you are willing to take on the responsibility for its life and give it a good one. We would like to thank Becky Richlin for taking these two little ones in and giving them their forever home! This is what we are here to do!

There is a lady that contacted us about taking these two kittens. We advise her that we are full at this moment but would be willing to help as she is going through some hard times. She would like to see them go together to a forever home. They are not old enough to get spayed or neutered. We at Moon-lit Acres Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center Inc. will help her with cat food, litter and the necessary vaccines that they need. They will be going to the vet on August 7, 2...020 to get a snap test, rabies, distemper, and worming done out of our pocket. If someone takes them before We pay for shots and or spayed or neutered, there is no charge. If we get them ready for adoption and she then just fosters. The charge will be $80.00 each to adopt. The one with the marks on its whiskers is a boy (Clyde) and the other is a girl (Bonnie) they are between 8-12 weeks old we believe. Please message us if you would like more information on them.
